The headshots were a concept that came to me in late 2007 before I started shooting exclusively digital. I had been experimenting with some very high speed films and bringing my ISO up to scary levels for a year prior before I decided to apply this technique to my dog portraits. I really love the results in which it produced and decided to bring film into my dog photography and offer it to clients. The photos are shot with 35mm and medium format film and prints are all gelatin silver on fiber paper. All prints from The series are for sale.
